Club Training Rules
- Non-member participants are expected to be aware of any fees and are responsible for paying one of the club officers accordingly.
- All participants must sign a club waiver.
- Visitors are welcome to attend one training session and bring their dog for evaluation. You must notify the club beforehand if you would like to visit.
- All visitor and member dogs including puppies must be securely "put up" (secured in crates in vehicles) when not actively working or unless instructed otherwise by the training director.
- All dogs inlcuding visitor and non-member dogs must be current on vaccinations for parvo, distemper, and rabies, be free of parasites, and be current on flea & tick preventatives.
- Visitors must bring proof of vaccinations.
- Everyone is expected to have their dogs under their control at all times and prevent their dogs from interfering with other dogs or causing unnecessary distractions.
- Visitors, prospective members, and guests of members may not photograph or video tape training.
- Members may photograph and video tape training with the club's permission for personal use. Photos and video of other people and their dogs may not be published without approval.
- Members' dogs are worked first, visitors' dogs to follow as time allows.
- All training is conducted on private property. Please be respectful of property owners and immediately pick up any dog waste. Do not leave trash or other other items behind because the fields, parking, and pottying areas are frequently mowed.
- No alcohol on club grounds.
- No smoking.
- Please wear appropriate boots or close-toed shoes while working your dog.
- Members and prospective members must demonstrate a commitment to training their dogs for the sport of Schutzhund, which means working all three phases and observing or helping out others when not actively working.
