The Working Dog Club of Michigan is a newly forming GSDCA-WDA sactioned Schutzhund club. We currently train bi-weekly on Fridays at 7:00pm at Taking the Lead dog training club in Marshall, MI. The club was started by Julie Richards-Mostosky, German Shepherd dog trainer, exhibitor, and breeder since 1977, and Warren Miller, state trooper and experienced police K-9 trainer. We welcome new members of any experience level. Our current members are primarily German Shepherd dog enthusiasts, but we are open to other working breeds.

Currently, our membership rate is a one-time $100 fee, plus $125 per year. We are offering an "open" membership to those who cannot attend regularly or aren't ready to fully commit. This membership is $75 (to cover the cost of using our equipment and facilities, as well as the insurance and added liability of your dog) and $15 per training session (goes towards helper fees). If you decide to become a full member, we will apply the $75 towards your full membership fee.
